Anna Winger
Anna Winger (born 1970) is an American writer who lives in Berlin, Germany. She is author of the novel 'This Must Be the Place' (Riverhead) and creator of the television drama 'Deutschland 83.' Her personal essays have appeared in ''The New York Times Magazine'', Condé Nast Traveler, and the ''Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung''. Winger's radio series for NPR Worldwide, ''Berlin Stories'', is a literary archive about the city. It has been on the air since 2009. She speaks English, Spanish and German, but always writes in English.
